Guy Racing enjoyed a fruitful day out at Ballina today with a winning double when Bo Bo Horse and Amata won their respective events. Bo Bo Horse finally broke through for a well-deserved victory after several luckless runs. Daniel Griffin rode the son of Dr Green perfectly from the inside gate and commented after the race that it was “tough victory” with the horse letting down well at the top of the straight and holding off his nearest rival to score by just under a length.

Guy Racing’s other winner was Amata who had put the writing on the wall previously in stronger races to score a commanding three and a half lengths win. The mare was ridden by Luke Rolls who had won on her previously but said after today’s event that this was by far her strongest victory and he can see no reason why she won’t win more races in this class.

Bryan Guy was full of praise for both horses owners and the loyalty they had shown to the stable with Mr Chan the owner of Bo Bo Horse bringing up thirty years as a client recently and Amata’s part owner Amalgamated Milk Services Pty Ltd who has been one of the stables major supporters for well over fifty years.
